KUALA LUMPUR – July 12th, 2019 marks yet another significant milestone for Dacsee as it enters a golden covenant with the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) at Sunway Putra Hotel.

Upon the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), MATTA will be partnering with Dacsee alongside other e-hailing companies to leverage on the fast-growing platforms by enlisting its members’ transport services on their ride-hailing applications.

“We would like to thank MATTA for inviting Dacsee for this collaborative effort. We always believe in investing in community. Members of the travel and tour industry will have the opportunity and support they need for the access to a bigger market and a new stream of income through e-hailing platform,” says Dacsee CEO Lim Chiew Shan.

MATTA President Datuk Tan Kok Liang says that this partnership aims to raise the business sustenance of its members and the e-hailing companies whilst contributing to the nation’s tourism sector simultaneously.

The recent governmental ruling regarding the mandatory possession of Public Service Vehicle (PSV) license by e-hailing drivers will not pose as a problem to MATTA as their tourist vehicle operators is reported to have always been in possession of the PSV license for the past three decades.

Datuk Tan further reassures that their transport operators are at par with other e-hailing services as they are vetted and well-trained to ensure optimum comfort and safety for its passengers. He adds that the vehicles provided by their members are advantageous in terms of size as they have a large capacity and are suitable for cross-border trips.
